Happy Wednesday! How has your week been? Mine has been really good- I’ve been busy with lots of Christmas decorating and cooking. The weather has warmed up some, but it still feels like Christmas time!
Today I want to show you how I made the cutest mini Plaid Christmas Trees! They are super easy and so cute- the fit into our decor wonderfully!
All you need is:
Scissors
Scrap plaid material (I used scraps from an old plaid shirt)
Foam shapes (found mine at Hobby Lobby in the floral section)
Hot glue gun & glue sticks
Directions:
Cut your fabric into strips- you don’t want these to be super long, but not super short, either. Mine were varied lengths. Sit down and just start gluing your strips around the shapes. As you can see I started with three foam pieces, but decided I only needed two where I was decorating (I will use the other foam shape in some other project). Ta-da! You are finished.
Wasn’t that easy? I can’t wait to show you how they look on my Christmas Mantel! What Christmas decorations are you working on?
Cute!
These are the CUTEST! I always want to do DIY projects, but the ones I want to do require a good amount of time and supplies, so I don’t usually get to them. But these are great! Definitely feeling inspired. 🙂
What a cute idea! Love it!
