Okay, y’all. My oils. How can I explain to you how much I love these amazing bottles of goodness? My favorite color has always, always been purple. And some of my favorite oils are purple. Why? Let me explain….
Aren’t they pretty?
Stressed out? Aren’t we all at some point? Well, let me just say, these three oils are to the rescue! Not only do I use these oils when I’m stressed, I put them on at the beginning of the day so I have a better day. Plus, the Tranquil helps me sleep at night.
Need I say more? SclarEssence helps support the body’s own production of hormones. It’s soothing thanks to Peppermint, balancing thanks to Fennel & Clary Sage, and calming from Spanish Sage. Who wouldn’t need that during that time of the month. For the best benefit, put it on daily. Your family/husband/kids will thank you. Oh, and did I mention I don’t have cramps anymore? #seriously
This is how I resolved irritability that used to ruin my day. And these scents are ah-mazing. Perfect for an all-natural perfume and toxin-free scent! As a side note….these are also good to diffuse in the heat of an argument.
Let me just put in a word here for RutaVaLa and Lavender…..
Occational sleeplessness? Say hello to a good night’s sleep. Naturally. Who doesn’t want restful sleep? #sweetdreams

I just tried Thieves oil for the first time. We haven’t gone into a lot of supplements because our family has had great health due to regular Chiropractic care, but I have been looking into the oils. Thanks for the info.
Thank you for stopping by!
Wow, its crazy how different oils can effect the way your body reacts. With four boys, I may need to try the oil for diffusing.
Your pics are gorgeous! I love my purple oils, too!
Thank you, Amy! 🙂
my mom uses young living and loves them. whenever i’m over she’s rubbing different oils on my temples (i get migraines) and i’ve even started asking her if she can do the diffuser while i’m there =)
Yes, Young Living is amazing!
Hannah, you may not want to post this comment, and I’m not trying to be mean, but I am trying to be pointed: Where’s Jesus in all this? Where’s God’s grace? Where’s the Bible? If a particular oil relieves your stress, who gets the glory?
I’m deeply skeptical of these oils, and not because the FDA hasn’t validated them but because so many Christian women are placing such trust in them, trust that, it seems to me, would better be placed in Someone else. If you don’t and can’t agree, please at least do this: set a calendar item on your computer to remind you to re-evaluate this blog post in ten years. What homeopathic remedy will be all the rage at that time? And where will Jesus be then?
God created the plants that these oils are made from. These oils have been used for thousands of years to help fight plagues, virus’s and other infections. The wisemen brought Frankincense to Jesus, an oil that was and still is highly valued. Mary used oil to worship Jesus. The Priests used oils and their incense to send up offerings to God.
I think all praise goes to the Father for giving us such amazing natural tools for health!
Thank you so much, Rebekah! Took the words right out of my mouth. 🙂
Yes! What Rebekah said is exactly what I was going to write this morning. Thank you for your comment.

I’m just getting into essential oils. My mom and mother in law have used them ever since I can remember, but I never really started researching them until the past couple of weeks.
I am constantly amazed at all the natural things that there are to help people and yet most of the world turns to OTC drugs and medicines.
I use Lavender myself sometimes. Very calming. Thanks for putting this post out there – there needs to be more of this in the world!
Love those purple beauties!! Lavender everyday!!
I cannot live without my YL essential oils! Lavender is by far my favorite ever!
