Everyone knows that with pregnancy comes stretching, changing skin. It’s no fun- even if it is for a good cause….like growing a precious little baby. Today I want to share with you how I make my own belly oil to rub into my stretching skin twice a day. It’s so wonderful!
For this DIY oil, you are going to need a jar to store your mixture in, coconut oil, Young Living’s Lavender Oil, and Young Living’s Gentle Baby oil.
This is a super easy recipe! First, you want to scoop (or pour, if it is warm) the coconut oil into your jar. Depending on the size of your jar, add 5-10 drops of each essential oil. Mix well. If your coconut oil is staying liquid and you want a more “cream” feeling, keep the mixture in the refrigerator. Runny oil doesn’t bother me, so I just keep it on the bathroom counter. This mixture of oils is SO wonderful for healthy skin!
Have you ever made your own belly oil? What did you do for stretching pregnancy skin?
Fantastic! What a great idea… I will pass this along!

I know a few mommas-to-be who would love this! I bet it smells heavenly!
I have so wanted to buy the Happy Baby blend for a long time. I just decided that I’m asking for it for my next pregnancy.
I will have to remember this with my next pregnancy. Pinning for later!
I don’t usually get stretch marks until the last few weeks of pregnancy. I think it is genetic. My mom was the same way. 🙂 This does sound like it smells amazing, so I would probably use it just for that!!
I bet it smells so good too!
