Cleaning My Baby’s Toys

I’m not a germaphobe. Really, I promise. Letting your child be exposed to some germs is perfectly fine. I mean, you can’t hide them away forever! I personally don’t disinfect all my child’s toys or anything they put in their mouth…plus, bleach? No way. I haven’t ever owned any in my life!

Why I Clean My Baby's Toys

So, what do I use? I use this amazing stuff called Thieves Cleaner! It’s so awesome, I’m in love!

I absolutely love that it doesn’t have any nasty chemicals or fragrances that could hurt my baby. It’s just another part of having a chemical-free, healthy home!

So, how do I clean the toys? If it can be in the water, I just put some thieves dish soap & warm water in the sink, soak the toys, rinse and let dry. Easy peasy! If the toy needs to be “spot cleaned”, I just put some thieves cleaner on a rag, and clean the toys. I usually do this before & after I have other children in our home.

  1. I am the same way! Not a germaphobe, but every once in a while, I feel like those toys need to be cleaned off! I also love using my essential oils to avoid the harmful chemicals.

  2. I love using essential oils for cleaning! The toys that gross me out the most are bath toys. They get slimy from being in water, theh have been peed on and in poopy water…. ewwww!!
