17 Weeks {Pregnancy Update}

On Sunday, we hit 17 weeks with Baby #1. I seriously cannot believe I am almost half way done. I really have this feeling the second half of the pregnancy is going to feel longer than the first half…..

The past week….

I’ve been craving- nothing, actually! So thankful!

I’ve gained- a big fat 0 pounds, making it a total of 5lbs in 17 weeks!

I’m feeling- tired, hungry….did I mention tired? And big.

I’m looking forward to- having our next ultrasound tomorrow! We get to find out if Baby is a boy or a girl!

I’m wearing- lots of Luke’s t-shirts and my baggy shorts. Ha! But going out I’ve been wearing regular maxi skirts with bigger shirts, or maternity tops.

Favorite snack this week- granny smith apples. Seriously. Eating my weight in them.

Sincerely,
Hannah Diane

  1. Oh wow, sooo exciting! I remember with my first pregnancy it all took forever. I was so excited to start looking pregnant, I wanted to scream it to the world I was going to be a Mommy. Having the big belly made it easier and less weird to do that. That is so exciting to find out what gender you will have. I found out with all three and loved it! With every one of my pregnancy’s my first trimester wrecked me with morning (all day) sickness and by the time I had the baby I was still weighing less then before I got pregnant. It was nursing that helped me make up for the weight loss. You look beautiful and so, so happy!

  2. Oh my gosh, I wish I only craved apples! Great job on a super healthy pregnancy 🙂 And yes, I agree, the second half of pregnancy feels much longer than the first half. Especially toward the last few weeks when everyone assumes you’re in labor if you don’t respond to their text/messages right away!

  3. So excited for you to find out the gender! I have to wait until April 2. 😦 And yeah, granny smith apples DO sound amazing right now! I’ll have to run to the store later. 🙂

  4. You look so small!! I’ve gained five pounds in nine weeks, so I’m a little jealous at your low number…. 🙂 I’m hoping that the number will stay there for a couple of weeks.
    Have fun at your ultrasound! They are so exciting.
